The vario MAX N/CN may be operated in carbon/nitrogen mode or the faster N/Protein mode according to the Dumas combustion method. This analyzer is particularly suitable for meats, grains, feeds, dairy products and beer for the determination of Protein (N). In CN mode typical applications include plants tissue, soils, manure and compost samples as well as liquid extracts of these materials. The vario MAX is a fast, safe and environmentally friendly alternative to the classical Kjeldahl Method. The large reusable sample crucibles result in easy sample preparation for solids, liquids or semi-solids.
