Dr. Hans-Peter Sieper, founder and chairman of the supervisory board of Elementar Analysensysteme GmbH, was honoured for his role model function as entrepreneur with the prize of the German Association of Medium-Sized Enterprises (Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft, BVMW).
"It is a great honour for me", explained Dr. Hans-Peter Sieper when he received the prize during the official ceremony in the Main-Kinzig-Forum in Gelnhausen on October 25th, 2017. The "Mittelstandspreis" (prize for medium-sized companies) is an initiative of the German Association of Medium-Sized Enterprises (BVMW) and honours entrepreneurial personalities for their commitment and their role model function as high performers. This year, the five-person jury of the BVMW county chapter Main-Kinzig voted for the founder and chairman of the supervisory board of Elementar, Dr. Hans-Peter Sieper: his entrepreneurial skills made Dr. Sieper a role model for his industry as well as for all German medium-sized companies. He won over four nominated entrepreneurs from the Main-Kinzig region.
Jens Hof, chairman of the jury, claimed to got to know Dr. Sieper as an "enthusiastic person with an impressive life's work". It was stressed that Dr. Sieper has an entrepreneurial assertiveness on an international scale, that he is industry-wide recognized as an expert in his field of work and that he maintains direct contact to his employees. Next to entrepreneurial skills, also selected factors from the fields of innovation, environment, sustainability, as well as social and regional commitment were evaluated by the jury.
